Over two decades ago, I took a year to travel the world. I climbed mountains, wandered cities, and crossed continents. But nothing compared to what I felt when I touched down in Australia. The pulse of this place; its ochre deserts, ancient forests, soul-stirring wildlife, and reef-wrapped coastlines, it all spoke to something deep inside me. As the Southern Cross lit up the desert sky, I knew I was home.

Ten years later, I followed that pull and emigrated. And for the last 13 years, I’ve roamed this country with eyes wide open, heart full, and journal in hand.
